31 Days to Become a Better Writer – Day 14

Day 14

Today’s challenge:

Today I want you to visit Lisa-Jo’s and write about whatever prompt she has, but when I go back and read it later, I want it to scream you!  It shouldn’t blend in with the post before it and after it.  Instead it should shout your name.

———–

Hello, world! You’re all rushing about, and shouting, it’s really quite distracting! Could you all just stay still for a moment because I! AM! TALKING!

Everything is sooooo loud. Why is it so loud? Cars-loud. Fans-loud. Air conditioner-loud. The telly-loud. Can’t we all just have some peace and quiet?

I like it when I go to bed, because it’s dark and it’s quiet. No noises, no nothing. I flinch whenever I hear a sound when I’m in bed. I wish most days could just be silent…not entirely silent, mind you just quiet. We all need some quiet.

Wait, you hear that? All I hear is silence…this is new.

Wait, never mind. It’s loud again.

  1. It’s way too loud. I’m sorry there’s nothing I can do to change that right now.
