Day 22

Today’s challenge:

 Let’s keep carving away at our dialogue and tweaking it.  Today, write the dialogue between the two men in the above picture.  Be creative!

He was flipping through his papers until he looked up and ran into a jogger with an orange jacket.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!” the jogger said apologetically.

“Oh no, it’s alright,” the man reassured him, pickup the notebooks and book he dropped. He looked up at the jogger. “Hey, don’t I know you?” he asked curiously.

The jogger took off his sunglasses. “Yeah, I think I know you too. I teach at the university.”

The man smiled. “So do I!”

The jogger looked at his watch as if he was in a hurry. “I’m sorry, I have to go, but I’ll see you at the university.” He smiled.

The man smiled and waved as the jogger went off.
