Damaris’ Guide to Words, Acronyms, People, Places, Etc. that She Uses that You Don’t Know

This is my guide to everything I say that you don’t know.

The Chronicles of Narnia

“Narnia is a fantasy world created by C. S. Lewis as the primary location for his series of seven fantasy novels for children, The Chronicles of Narnia.”

C.S. Lewis

The author of this wonderful series. The ‘C.S.’ stands for ‘Clive Staples’.

Peter Pevensie/William Moseley

Peter is the oldest of the four Pevensie children, the main characters of the Narnia series. William Moseley is the actor who plays him.

Susan Pevensie/Anna Popplewell

The second oldest of the Pevensie children. Anna Popplewell is the actress who plays her.

Edmund Pevensie/Skandar Keynes

The second youngest of the Pevensie children. Skandar Keynes is the actor who plays him.

Lucy Pevensie/Georgie Henley

The youngest of the Pevensie children. Georgie Henley is the actress who plays her.

Harry Potter

Hogwarts

The magical school that close to all the characters in the Harry Potter series go to.

J.K. Rowling

The author of the Harry Potter series. She’s quite brilliant. The ‘J.K.’ stands for ‘Joanne Kathleen’, but Miss Joanne doesn’t have a middle name, so she used her grandmother’s.

Harry Potter/Daniel Radcliffe

Harry Potter is the main character of the series. Daniel Radcliffe is the actor who plays him.

Ronald “Ron” Weasley/Rupert Grint

Ron Weasley is one of Harry’s best friends. Rupert Grint is the actor who plays him.

Hermione Granger/Emma Watson

Hermione Granger is Harry’s other best friend. Emma Watson is the actress who plays her.

Doctor Who

The Doctor

The Doctor is the main character of the television series Doctor Who. He is a time traveler, who travels in his TARDIS. He first appeared in the Classic Who series in 1963, but I’ve only seen the New Who series.

Rose Tyler/Billie Piper

Rose Tyler is the first companion of the Ninth Doctor, and one of the companions of the Tenth Doctor. Billie Piper is the actress who portrays her.

Martha Jones/Freema Agyeman

Martha Jones is one of the Tenth Doctor’s companions. Freema Agyeman is the actress who plays her.

Donna Noble/Catherine Tate

Donna Noble is one of the Tenth Doctor’s companions. Catherine Tate is the actress who plays her.

Ninth Doctor/Nine/Christopher Eccleston

The Ninth Doctor is the first Doctor we see in the New Who series. Christopher Eccleston is the actor who plays him.

Tenth Doctor/Ten/David Tennant

The Tenth Doctor is the second Doctor we see in the New Who series. Currently my favorite Doctor.

TARDIS

TARDIS stands for ‘time and relative dimension in space’. It’s the Doctor’s time-travelling machine. The chameleon circuit, which helps it blend into its surroundings, is broken, leaving it shaped as a 1960’s police box after a visit to 1963 London.

“Bananas are good.”

The Doctor likes bananas. Bananas are full of potassium.

I have no where near completed this. This is going to be edited regularly. I still have Merlin to do, Warehouse 13, etc.
